If two employees are standing at the door talking to one another, it would be nice to be greeted by at least one of them. I walked in for ten seconds and departed. Neither asked me if I needed help (I DID). They didn’t acknowledge me. No eye contact. I didn’t feel valued so I left. I was there between 1pm - 3pm. It wasn’t busy.
Pretty good little spot with lots of different options for kids and adults I would definitely come back very soon. Dsw is a great brand all the way around
I get my shoes here. Employees are usually just hanging around and not working. Never been asked if I needed assistance. Not sure why I keep going now that I think about it.
The service at this store is appalling. Some is related to the specific people, but some is related to store policies. First, why is my birthday reward considered a coupon, which cannot be applied to a different order if you do a return or exchange for a different shoe? Second, the pair of shoes I purchased initially rang up for 54 dollars. The cashier ended up INCREASING the price to 95 dollars. I have never heard of this happening. The clearance color suggested it was only 20 percent off, but it was apparently entered into the system differently. They assumed the error was the system instead of considering that the error could have been the color of the sticker. Regardless, when there is an error in favor of the customer, there is no change - that's the new price. And they wasted my time working to charge me more! Overall, the experience taught me that employees at DSW are unwilling to help. You have to force them do anything extra. Again, I expect this has as much to do with company policies/management as the individuals involved. Disgraceful experience. This is why I avoid going into the store...
